I’m continually surprised how much I still think about Star Wars on almost a daily basis well into my 40′s. I used to think it was just something for my generation, Like a Woodstock, or the Beetles invasion. Now that Disney has the franchise in it’s grasps, future generations will grow up on it, as I did. The Clone Wars seem to be hit and miss with some kids, but Disney knows how to put a good product out there, so fingers crossed there is no Jar Jar….I still love ol’ Darth Vader, and will never forget the first time I saw him on screen. I wasn’t quite sure what was going on, but I knew I needed the toys, and some sort of sword. Now, just like Darth Vader, I too, have crappy bumper stickers. I’m not sure how I would fit into the Star Wars universe, but I think I would want to be on the dark side, and work for Darth Vader, maybe as a guy who scratched his dry scalp when need be.
Silence of the Bunnies…..In a follow-up to an earlier cartoon, cartoonist Stan Makowski makes Easter that much creepier. Who knows what the Easter Bunny is into in his spare time. Guy seems like a jerk, makes crap and the hides it, like some sort of killer. Here cartoonist Stan Makowski has drawn Buffalo Bunny renacting that famous scene in Silence of the Lambs.
One of the worst things about owning a house is painting it. It’s ridiculously hard to do by yourself, and if you don’t, it costs a fortune to hire someone to do it. Why doesn’t the Easter Bunny do this in the off season? Seems legit. He likes to paint stuff…Just so long as it adheres to the homeowner association. In this cartoon, Stan Makowski pokes fun of the easter Bunny and Homeowner associations! Two things he’s never really seen, but has heard of!
